Runway Hotel

Food and drinks finally arrived after everyone else had finished eating and started asking for the bill or talking about cancelling. We had to take ours boxed to go. At the table, food was coming out just one or two plates every 30 minutes, and my husband and I waited hours without drinks or food. Even a ginger ale took ages, after a very long wait just to get drinks in the first place. After eating the food later that night, I’ve had severe diarrhea since early this morning. Mother’s Day is busy, but organization, communication, timing, and food handling standards still matter. It was a very disappointing visit to Runway Hotel Restaurant, and I wouldn’t return. It’s now blacklisted for me.

We spent over 8k on food and drinks for a company team-building event, and it was a horrible experience. The prices felt inflated and poor value. The food wasn’t top quality: the chicken was dry and overcooked, and the rice was salty. Our server made lots of mistakes with the orders and needs more training. The food and customer service were the worst. Neither I nor my company will ever go back to Runway.

Waynisha was easily the best part, with great suggestions and a nice vibe. The food was well cooked, portions were more than enough, and it was definite value for money. It tasted so good I forgot to take pictures.

The food was awful, with flies all over it. I’m shocked the flies even ate some. It tasted uncooked, and the cheese on my loaded fries seemed microwaved and went hard really quickly. I was embarrassed that I’d recommended the place to my foreign friends. They had nothing but terrible things to say about the food and service, and some servers had baffling attitudes. The rooms smelled, and there was lots of noise from passing cars and music. By far one of the worst experiences I’ve had.
