Gwendelyn made us feel very welcome, and the rooms were clean and well maintained. My family and I felt at home at Seaside Gardens during our vacation, and we know we made the right choice. We're already planning another Tobago trip and will be staying at your guesthouse again.

The only real plus was being close to the beach. The area itself wasn't very clean, and for the price, the service gave little to appreciate. The property is old and cramped, with a lot of maintenance needed. We got no toiletries apart from towels, even after asking. There was an AC issue, and the double bedroom had no ventilation or natural light. Some rooms had toilets that wouldn't flush and locks that didn't work, with no discount offered. Manageable, but not worth the price.

The beds irritated my back because they were uncomfortable, but the hostess was very nice and knew the area and events well. The place was clean and well kept. Walking distance to Buccoo beach was its best feature, I believe. I'd definitely recommend it and visit again.

Being able to reach the beach in a two-minute walk was a real plus, even though I couldn't see it from my room, which was what I'd hoped for. Gwendolyn was a fantastic host, with a lovely personality, and the accommodations felt in line with the price. My only other issues were ants and mosquitoes.

Gwen, the manager, tried her best for us, but the owner needs to put money into the guesthouse. We really didn't like Seaside Garden Guesthouse. The rooms need proper curtains on one window, since the morning sun shines right in your face. The bathroom is old, the shower curtain is too short, and there's nowhere proper to put your things. Even the front door is an iron gate secured with a chain that guests have to open several times a day. The location was a big problem too. There's constant noise from the neighbourhood, even at night, including the neighbour's dog barking right beside the room. On Sundays, the event called Sunday School happens just in front of the guesthouse. The huge speakers blast extremely loud music until early morning. People in Buccoo say it's tradition, but it was very disturbing.
