The place was clean and well kept, with linen changed often. It’s fairly central to most destinations, and it was quiet and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My main criticism is the included breakfast, which should be improved. Management may figure that food is close by in every direction, but having to go outside the facility for breakfast, along with the Wi-Fi issues, cost it a star for me.

Staff gave us different information at different times. I went in person to make an advance reservation, then called later and was told no reservation had been made. Suddenly, rule number 10 appeared: no deposit, no reservation. This kind of slackness could be trained out of staff if management weren’t so useless themselves. It’s 2014, and the hotel’s rate is higher than Travelodge in the UK. At that price, I expect some degree of professionalism. Management needs to understand that staff shape the business, and when they mess up, it reflects on them.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the staff were friendly. Since it’s close to the city, everything is easy to get to.
