Gascon Villas

I found the location handy for getting around Trinidad, with Uber easy to access nearby. The property also has a large, well-kept parking area and a gated entrance that gave me a sense of security. Mountain views and the quiet atmosphere made it feel like a peaceful place to return to, especially at sunrise and sunset. During my extended stay at Gascon Villas, the suite was kept in excellent condition. Housekeeping came twice a week for cleaning and linen changes, and the amenities made for a comfortable stay. The on-site bar was a nice place to unwind and socialize on weekends, with an elegant but welcoming feel. The staff, from maintenance to the front desk, were warm, professional, and attentive. For me, Gascon Villas combines comfort, service, security, and convenience well. It has become my preferred place to stay in Trinidad, for a short visit or a longer one. It felt like a home away from home with modern comforts and a local feel.

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when sharing tips on local food and shopping. Getting around was easy with the TTRS app (Trinidad Uber). The owner is a relaxed guy, and the rooms suit international travelers looking for a simple getaway close to local life, away from the resort scene.

The furniture was filthy and in terrible shape, and the service was bad. A few of my things were stolen. I wouldn't return. Their policy says no refunds, and they wouldn't give me my money back. Even Hilton wouldn't keep your money against your will.

It's decent value for the price and fine for a night or two, but the place feels dated and there's a bar next door. I wouldn't suggest staying longer.
