The price was reasonable, and there was a water dispenser. I was fine with there being no mirror in the room, but the bathroom combined the shower and toilet. It was on the second floor, reached only by stairs, and the soundproofing was poor. At night, other guests coming and going made a lot of noise and disturbed people trying to sleep early. The blacksmith shop didn’t bother the room until 10 am. The place used self-service check-in and check-out, with Line customer service for contact. The room was generally clean, and the TV had a fourth channel.

The sofa and TV corner were my favorite part of the room, though the sofa was a little small. There was a small table for meals, and large sorting bins by the entrance kept food waste from smelling up the room. No kettle in the room, but there was a water dispenser on the second floor. I would have liked a mirror outside the bathroom for convenience. The soundproofing seemed fine to us on the first floor, since we didn’t hear voices. We did hear some blacksmithing next door, but it was okay, and everyone seemed to leave early. It was a new kind of stay for me. We used Line to communicate, and the chatbot shared lots of details, including restaurant and souvenir suggestions. There were QR codes we could use to reply, too. Remember to pay soon after booking to hold the room, though you can still cancel later.

I was nervous about using self check-in and check-out for the first time, but the hotel answered my questions on Line quickly and put me at ease. I don’t speak much Taiwanese, yet the Line translator made communication smooth, and the manager also explained things in English. The rooms were clean and looked well cared for, so I was happy with my stay.

The room was clean, and the bed had just the right firmness, so I was comfortable there. The common areas and rooms looked nice and really lifted my mood. Sound carried through the walls, though, and I could clearly hear people talking outside.
