The location worked well for us, close to the railway station and within walking distance of shops and the night market. It’s a cosy, inexpensive place for a big group of friends. Rooms and toilets were clean, and the beds were simple but comfortable.

We had a surprisingly roomy room on the fourth floor, with enough showers and bathrooms, plus laundry nearby. Everything was clean and tidy. Downstairs there’s a kitchen and a place to hang out. Petite Hostel is handy for a stop in Chiayi, close to the main station and easy to reach on foot from shops, cafés and restaurants. The owner even took the time to send the power bank we’d left behind to our hotel in Taipei. Thanks so much!

The boss was really friendly and accommodating. There’s lots of space in the common area, with plenty of amenities, and the place felt clean and comfortable.

The owner’s a great guy, speaks English really well, and was very helpful. The hostel was clean and spacious. There are a few steps to climb to get to the room, but that was fine.
