The receptionist seemed a little indifferent, though she was very helpful whenever I had a problem. The place feels old-fashioned, and a few things are inconvenient, like a showerhead that can’t be adjusted. Still, it has the basics you need.

We paid NT$2000 for a three-person room, which seemed reasonable, though there was no breakfast. The building is old, with check-in on the 5th floor; my room was on the 6th. It stands opposite the Douliu Railway Station roundabout, and there are plenty of amenities nearby. The soundproofing was poor, the TV didn’t work, and the shower hose was a bit bent. Fine for one night.

The pin shown here isn’t the right location for KD Hotel Kai Deng Business Hotel. Kai Deng Business Hotel is just behind it.
