The location is handy, right in the heart of Gaoshu township, with a convenience store, hot food, and fresh fruit all within walking distance. The host is really friendly and makes a scrumptious, healthy breakfast. It’s a cozy place to stay for a night or longer. Highly recommended!

The rooms are clean, and the landlady is friendly. It’s the only choice in Takagi city.

The guesthouse rooms are incredibly clean, and the owner is extremely friendly. There are lots of local snacks nearby, along with PX Mart and hardware stores. The lamb at the restaurant next to the guesthouse is fantastic, and they also have wheel cakes and peanut pancakes. You might run out of stomach space! Highly recommended.

I was traveling around the island on my own, going from Taitung to Kaohsiung to get away from the typhoon. I wasn’t sure where to stay, then spotted some great reviews on Google Maps and booked a room at short notice. Luckily, they had a place for me. There’s an affordable, delicious lamb snack shop nearby, and the owner was very nice. I plan to stay here again next year when I travel around the island.

The location is fantastic and the price is very reasonable. The pillows could be higher, and the front room on the second floor doesn’t have great soundproofing. Still, this is the best choice for future trips back to our hometown to pay respects to our ancestors.
