Valley Silence B&B

Staying here felt like being at home. The hosts are warm and friendly, and the homemade breakfast was healthy and filling. I also really enjoyed the black coffee and red tea. I hope to plan another trip soon, and I’m looking forward to trying the vegetables the hosts grow themselves 🤭. Highly recommended!

We planned our yearly trip with close friends in Hualien and chose Gujing Guesthouse for our three-day, two-night stay. The mountain scenery was right outside, and the place felt comfortable and relaxing. The owners welcomed us warmly, made a special breakfast, and suggested local Hualien sights that made the trip so enjoyable. We left feeling refreshed in body and mind.

Breakfast was so good, especially the pumpkin that day. It was naturally sweet, and the food wasn’t over-seasoned at all. After a night of heavy, salty night market snacks, it felt like a reset for both stomach and soul, haha 👍 The owner and his wife were very friendly, and I appreciated that they made breakfast themselves and took time to explain what was in it 💕.

We were there for two days, and the owners were so welcoming. I’d gladly come back ❤️. The breakfast was a treat: beautifully presented, tasty, filling, and healthy. Be sure to try the owner’s specialty, "Chen's Black Tea ☕️". There’s a vegetable garden the owner made by hand outside, with chayote, as well as a flower garden with plum blossoms and frangipani. If you have time, listen to her talk about them in detail 😊. Highly recommended 👍.
