Lighting SPA Homestay

I expected a place to rest for the night, especially after spending tens of thousands of dollars, but the stay felt more like being at someone’s home. Some shared spaces couldn’t be used at all, and even the toilets had an unusual design. The facilities were outdated, too. My one-night stay was honestly astonishing. I can see why there aren’t any online reviews. If the owner isn’t ready to open to the public, I think they should move on. I wouldn’t feel wronged if the service I deserved wasn’t provided. Travelers considering this place should think twice. You deserve better.

The proprietress really knows her way around cooking, and she’s very knowledgeable about coffee and tea. I admire that a lot 🥰

We stayed as a family over the first through third days of Lunar New Year. The owners were very friendly, and every room was spacious, comfortable, and heated. Fantastic. We’d definitely come back if we get the chance.

Breakfast was quite substantial, and the owner was patient with the children, even though she wasn’t very talkative. The landlady has firm principles and ideas 💡, but her tone can feel a bit intimidating. The guesthouse has the necessary facilities, though cleanliness could be better. I’d bring my own hairdryer. The one provided is the type that overheats when you hold the button down in the bathroom.
