Bamboo Business Hotel

I was in Kaohsiung for a friend's birthday and stayed one night in April. The twin room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean and a decent size. Filtered water dispensers are on every floor, and you can pick up toiletries like razors, soap, and shampoo in the lobby. The lobby is on the 5th floor, with rooms on the 6th and 10th. It did what I needed, and I was happy with the stay.

My room was big, and the Wi-Fi and water pressure were good. There's drinking water on every floor, and checking out is self-service: just drop the key in the letterbox. Take enough toiletries from reception, since it stays closed from late at night until late morning. The hotel is about a six-minute walk from Formosa Station and two minutes from Liouhe market. There are a lot of casinos nearby, including one on the ground floor, but I couldn't hear it. There weren't enough hooks or rails for hanging clothes.

The room was huge, clean, and well maintained, and reception service was five stars. The breakfast had a good mix of options. Formosa boulevard MRT station is about a 10-minute walk away, with direct access to the airport and many Kaohsiung landmarks. On the walk to the station in the evening, there's the famous Liu He night market with lots of well-known Taiwanese street food. A 7 11 is just across the street. Keep in mind that the reception lobby is on the building's fifth floor.

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and easy to talk to. Although check-in was listed as 6 pm, they let us in at 1 pm after our morning flight to kaohsiung. The MRT and liuhe night market are both a neat five-minute walk away. Breakfast was a little disappointing: we mostly had porridge and vegetables, with a pretty limited selection. That's understandable for such a small hotel. I'd definitely stay again if I had the chance! :)
