Kindness Hotel Wu Jia

Good value, a clean room, helpful staff, and a good breakfast. Free ice cream was a nice extra. The one thing to improve is the smoke smell in the hallways, which also lingered a little in the rooms.

The service representatives were welcoming and professional. Free perks include an ice cream and coffee bar, bike service, and laundry. Breakfast was mostly suited to a Taiwanese palate, though there were a couple of options that would work for international guests. One odd downside was the shower, which had no curtain or door. The bath was raised quite far off the floor, so the shower was very short. This hotel is some distance from the busy city center, so it may not suit you if you want to be in the middle of things. If you don't mind driving a bit or heading south, it's a nice place to rest.

The hotel staff were excellent, and service staff like Mary & Judy were attentive to individual needs. We had a great stay in a budget biz room. There's free-flow ice cream, coffee, tea, and drinks, plus self-service laundry and a dryer, and breakfast too.

The rooms were nice, with comfortable beds, and everything was extremely clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's in a great spot, about a seven-minute walk to the MRT and close to the Night market.
