Q21 Hotel

23 Jan 2026, Friday, 7th floor. The room got stuffy with the window shut, even though the air-con worked. With the window open, road noise came in. Lighting was poor, with too few lights and badly placed ones. There were no bathroom hooks, either. When I checked in, I found a pubic or armpit hair stuck to the bath towel. Housekeeping should check the towels before handing them out.

We had such a good stay. The location was right by all the things we wanted to do, and the room was much bigger than expected, even though we booked a standard one. It was very clean, the shower was great, and the room looked just like the photos. I really can't think of anything to complain about.

Good value for the price, with breakfast included. The room was dusty, but the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot, though the temperature did jump up a bit at times. Parking was confusing at first, but we worked it out. It stayed quiet while we were there. There weren't many food choices, maybe because we arrived around 8pm. Not the best place, but a decent deal.

The layout made the stay awkward. The toilet and shower are in separate small booths that aren't fully closed off from the main room, which is small too. Maybe it's fine with a partner, but with other people there's nowhere private to change. I had to change in the shower and hope my dry clothes didn't get wet. You can hear your roommate's farts and pee through the night, too, and it's loud and disruptive. They only supplied one small and one large towel per person. I was there with two others and asked for more, but they said they could give us only two extra. I've never stayed somewhere with so few towels available. Cleanliness was disappointing as well: the shower wasn't properly cleaned, and there were loose hairs in both the shower and bathroom. Having read the reviews before booking, I realize my view may be in the minority, but I wanted to share it.
