My room was neat, clean and good, though it wasn’t soundproof. It’s a peaceful place to stay, but finding it can be difficult: the signs are all in Chinese, and it’s up a steep way from Main old street. The room felt more like a hotel than a b&b, and it’s better to bring your own toiletries. I booked through Agoda, which included breakfast in the bill, but there was no breakfast. The owner was supportive and said the mistake was on Agoda’s side. The idea of b&b in Taiwan still doesn’t feel mature to me.

[Worst inn ever] You can book this inn cheaply on Agoda and similar sites, but I can’t recommend it. There was no spare toilet paper, and the only towels were thin pieces of cloth. The room key wouldn’t lock the room, water kept leaking from the shower, and the thin walls let us hear voices and TV from next door. I hope they make improvements.

The location was excellent and breakfast was good. The room was large and had a TV and bed. My only complaint was the shower, which had no cabin, so water sprayed all over the bathroom.

A lovely little place, clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The water pressure was a bit low, and on our second night there was almost no hot water.
