Jiufen The Ore Inn

The view from the window was stunning, and the room felt cozy, clean, and nicely decorated with a warm, modern style. The staff were so kind and helpful that I felt welcome. The location was ideal, close to Jiufen Old Street while still quiet and peaceful. I had an amazing time at The Ore Inn and would recommend it to anyone visiting Jiufen. I'd love to come back.

The room was nice, check-in was easy, and it was convenient to head out and explore. The hotel is beyond the busy section of the main pedestrian alley. We took an Uber and chose a drop-off point a little uphill from the hotel, then walked downhill for about four minutes. When leaving, we went downhill for around seven minutes to reach the bus on the main road.

It's a new place with lovely rooms and great service. They share the reception's WhatsApp number in case you need anything. Old Street is very close, though parking is a bit of a distance away if you're driving. Free snacks and drinks include tea, coffee, cookies, bread, and spreads. Highly recommended, and excellent value for money!

We booked two nights and had a pleasant stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We arrived late and were meant to check ourselves in, but the staff were still there and recommended places to eat. The room was bigger than I expected, very clean, and had loads of power points. Hot water was readily available and the water pressure was good. The bed was comfortable, though the pillows were too soft. I asked for a couple more and the staff kindly brought them. The location is super convenient, a short walk from the old street but far enough away to stay quiet. I'd definitely come back if I visit again.
