We ended up talking for hours about scuba diving and travel, and the owner shared really useful tips for places to see and restaurants to try. He was one of the best hostel owners I’ve met. The mixed dorm was full, but since it was late he let me stay in the women-only room. At 450 TWD for a bed in a four-bed dorm, it was probably the best hostel I’ve stayed in. Such a lovely stay.
The bathrooms were clean and bright, though they got cold at night when I was there in February. The rooms had cozy wooden furniture, and the hostel has loads of character. It’s a little way from the city center, but the friendly host welcomed us and shared tips for the nearby area. I’d definitely return to Puli. And don’t miss the three cats! I heard the hostel was named after the owner’s late cat, Dian Dian.
The owner was lovely to chat with and incredibly kind and helpful. After I checked out, he even drove me to the bus station. The hostel was stylishly decorated and spotless. I’d absolutely recommend staying here, and I’ll be back.
Cozy and neat, with old-fashioned decor blended with postmodern touches and more. Foreign visitors are welcome, and there’s no language barrier. Must be the best hostel in town!
The owner was friendly and had lots of useful information. My room was neat, cool, and creative, and the setting was lovely and really quiet. I was very satisfied and will definitely come back.
