CHECK inn Taichung Liming

We were back in Taiwan for quarantine for the first time, and the staff made the stay wonderful. Everyone was friendly and professional, and our spacious, clean family room had five windows. The bathtub could use some renovation, but that was the only downside. We had a very pleasant stay.

We appreciated the free parking after a local friend unexpectedly lent us a car. The front desk was helpful too: when we reported that the shower drain wasn't working, they arranged a room change that same day around our busy schedule. We paid about 2200 NTD, which is expensive for the area, but the service and amenities made the extra cost feel worthwhile. We really enjoyed our stay, and the larger corner room we paid extra for was just the right size.

The included breakfast was a good size, and we could choose American or Asian food. We stayed in a clean, modern larger room for four, with a Japanese-style bidet toilet. Feng Chia market was about 1.2 km away, or a 15-minute walk. There was parking, though the car lifts made it pretty tight. I'd recommend the place.

At 1800 NTD, it wasn't cheap for such a basic, small, oddly laid-out room. The toilet and shower were separate and sat in the middle of the room. There was a shower toilet. It's far from everything, and across the street there was a construction site in November 2018. Parking was limited, and cars over 2000 cc had to use a remote lot about two blocks away.
