There was construction noise directly above my room from early morning until late in the day, with nonstop banging, drilling, and heavy movement. I couldn’t rest, work, or relax. I called reception more than 10 times, but each time they just said they couldn’t do anything because someone upstairs was fixing a carpet. No solution was offered. At this nightly price, having no peace is unacceptable. I expect quiet, comfort, and basic respect from a hotel, not to be stuck under a construction site. They clearly knew about the work and still put guests below it, which says a lot about how much they care. If sleep and peace matter to you, avoid this place. The premium price bought me a completely broken stay and a total waste of money. I’ll never stay here again, and I strongly advise others to stay away.

For a five-star hotel, the missing basics felt strange: no minibar, bottled water, conditioner for body and hair, or dressing gowns. The pool is outdoors and unheated.

I spent four days here on a business trip with my family, in the four-person room, "816". Most staff were helpful and attentive, which I appreciated. Still, we had a few problems. Plumbing noises came and went both day and night, the bathroom ventilation didn’t work, and the hair dryer only blew cold air. When I mentioned the ventilation to the front desk, they suggested bringing a dehumidifier into the bathroom instead of checking what was wrong. Thankfully, moving to a different room resolved most of the issues.

The soundproofing is poor, so hallway noise and sounds from nearby rooms carry easily. It’s an older five-star hotel, but it’s been maintained well and is in good shape.

The only thing going for this place is its walkable area, with several restaurants and businesses nearby. Inside, it feels stuck in the early 2000s: dated everywhere, very humid, and musty. Service is hit or miss, and the attention to detail is poor. I wouldn’t come back, especially for a longer stay.
