Years ago I had a nightmarish stay there and couldn’t sleep either night. The AC was noisy, and the place was so unclean that my trip was really uncomfortable. I wonder whether it’s closed now.

NT$1,880 for a holiday stay isn’t terribly expensive, but it isn’t especially cheap either. As soon as I entered, the smoke smell was unbearable. The room hadn’t been tidied with much care. Soundproofing was poor: I could hear people talking next door without the door even being open, and opening and closing doors was even louder. The shower head in the bathroom was nearly coming loose, the bathroom stickers were peeling and hadn’t been fixed, and the toilet light had no cover. The makeup chair also wobbled. Poor value for the price.

The bed wasn’t comfortable, the room lighting was dim, and there was a smell of smoke. I didn’t like the place overall.
