Shine Mood Resort Yuanli

The food was good, we paid 2000 NT for two people, including 200g of A5 beef and other dishes. The service felt even friendlier than the usual Taiwan standard, and that warmth came through. Our room was large, with a good-sized private onsen. The outdoor public onsen had enough pools at different temperatures, plus a gym and swimming pool. We went on a weekday, so it was quiet and more enjoyable. I can't really judge the location since I'm not local.

Breakfast was a decent Chinese buffet. The resort also has an indoor hot spring on the 8th floor with a more Japanese feel. Outside, there are lots of public hot spring pools at different temperatures, along with a sauna and steam room. You'll need swimwear and a swim cap for those pools. Our room was fairly new, large, clean, and came with its own hot spring tub.

We had a great view from the balcony on the 6th floor, and the bath in the room was amazing. The decor was high quality, everything was very clean, the facilities were great, and the staff were friendly. I was impressed, which doesn't happen often. The food was delicious and included halal options. I can't say much about the location since we had a private car, but places and attractions seemed close together. If you're driving and don't need public transport, this is a good choice. Worth it, no complaints.

The Beauty hot spring left my skin feeling smooth, and the spacious room made the private spring visit especially relaxing. I've been to several hot springs, but this was the first time I enjoyed the experience this much. The staff were patient and friendly with all my questions. Vivian was particularly helpful and welcoming. I had a really enjoyable, relaxing time and will definitely return to Shine Mood Resort.
