The room felt old, but it was okay. There’s no coffee pot, though you can get water from the purifier on the floor. The location is handy, especially with a bus stop nearby for Sun Moon Lake. It takes about 30 minutes to reach the city center and almost two hours by bus to the airport. At night I saw many young foreign workers in front of the entrance. I didn’t feel unsafe, but it’s better to be careful. Security seemed okay since only residents with a card key can use the elevator.

The bed was the dealbreaker for me. It was so hard that I couldn’t sleep well, and I would have stayed longer if it had been comfortable. Check-in was quite quick, the building felt safe and quiet, and the woman at the front desk was polite. The building and room design were old, though, and I guess they haven’t aged well.

The bed really needs fixing. It was so hard, and creaked whenever we moved, which made it difficult to sleep. The room itself was clean and nice, and we enjoyed the bathtub. The location is good and check-in was fast.

The hotel room is a little old and the beds weren’t very comfortable, but it was still okay for the much lower price compared with other hotels. Tai Zhong train station is about 10 minutes away, and the famous Miyahara ice cream is five minutes away.

It was really hard for me to find the hotel at first, but once I did, it was much better than I expected. The view is really nice, and the hot water, AC, and wigfi all worked very well. I’d come back if I visit Taichung again. Highly recommend you guys.
