The room was clean, with a Japanese bidet in the toilet, and the essential oil for the vaporizer made it smell fresh. There are good restaurants nearby: the Italian place was good, Lao Jing needs a reservation for its grill, and there’s Sushiro for conveyor belt sushi. Convenience stores are close too. Breakfast was good, especially the beef stew and chicken burger, and the washing machine and dryer are free to use. Not much English is spoken.

The location works well, with a Starbucks nearby and not much traffic noise. The room and bed are comfortable, and the price seems fair. This is always my first choice when I visit Taichung.

The room was small but clean, and the staff were okay. Breakfast came to the room rather than being served as a buffet, and it tasted good. Getting around wasn’t very convenient.

The front desk and staff were nice, and the room was clean, but I couldn’t sleep because of the air conditioning problem and then noise from its piping, along with other noises in the room. Staff came to check and admitted there was a problem, then offered earplugs. What kind of hotel is this? Terrible stay, not worth a penny.

I booked the night before for a Friday stay and paid $66 USD. The place was clean and nicely designed, and while the room was a bit small, I had no complaints for that price. After checking out, I realized I’d left my Gucci ring in the room. It was delivered to me the following day. Much appreciated, Treeart!
