There are shops all around, and it’s near both a school district and the train station. The B&B has Netflix and a mahjong table, which was great. I’d stay here again.

The housekeeper was friendly and attentive, and the facilities were great. The room was fantastic, and there was even a mahjong table to play on. It was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave, haha. I’ll definitely consider staying here again next time!

The layout worked well for our family. The kids could play on the slide while the adults talked downstairs, without disrupting their sleep schedule, and the downstairs Japanese-style room has outlets wherever you sit. The place is roomy and comfortable, close to the station, and quiet at night. The upstairs room has just one outlet, under the TV table, so there’s nowhere beside the bed to charge a phone. I had to get up quickly when my alarm went off. I’d like to see outlets added on both sides of the bed, including beneath the slide and by the stairs. Electronic entry would also be easier than using keys. The worn springs made the bed and pillows uncomfortable, though that didn’t spoil the stay.

Hot water took a long time to arrive, and the shower pressure was very weak. We had to take turns and wait 10-15 minutes each. On the second night of our two-night stay, the outdoor sprinkler system had been left on, so there was no water. They fixed it right after we called, but I was worried no one might be available so late. We also found cookie crumbs on the first floor that the previous guest had left behind.
