Meets Anping

The man at the front, who I assume runs the place, was warm and walked me through everything clearly. The room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows, good temperature control, and a large shower. Getting around takes some effort. The spot isn't especially convenient, though there's a bus stop nearby and Uber rides aren't expensive. You'll need transport to reach Anping or downtown.

A pleasant, good place, and very quiet.

I found this guesthouse online at the last minute when I suddenly needed to head south, and I'm glad I did. The owner was so friendly and even suggested a cheaper way to book that night. Really thoughtful. The outdoor space has lots of plants the owner grows, and it feels fresh and relaxing. Inside, everything was clean and comfortable, with a well-planned layout. My husband is an interior designer, and the first thing he said was that the owner had put real thought into the room. The sterilizer and bathtub were spotless too, so I didn't worry about bringing children. Some reviews mentioned a smell in the toilet, but we didn't notice one. And, as a small tip, close the toilet lid when flushing 😅. If you flush with it open, especially after using the toilet, you might notice an odor. Closing it also helps prevent bacteria from spraying out of the bowl. The AC was an international brand and kept the temperature steady, unlike places where it swings around. I was comfortable at 26 degrees Celsius with the fan on. Sunlight came into the room nicely, and even though some people say it can feel stuffy, the air circulation from the fan worked well for me. We stayed two nights. To keep food smells down, I wiped greasy containers with tissues, flattened them, tied them separately, and took them out myself. I also rinsed and sorted bottles and plastic containers. I know some people may feel that taking care of trash shouldn't be their job when they're paying, but I think small efforts save the owner time and help keep the place nice, and it's a way to care for the planet. ❤️ It was a great stay, with a thoughtful owner, comfortable surroundings, and considerate amenities. Keeping a guesthouse clean and in good shape takes work, so please sort your trash for the owner.

We came back for a second stay, and the four-person room is especially good value on weekdays. There's plenty of room in both the bedroom and bathroom. The elevator is a big help if you're carrying lots of luggage, and the shower has strong pressure for a comfortable rinse. Parking nearby is easy, with Yizai Jincheng diagonally across and a small park close by. It's a quiet place at night, good for a jog or a walk, and close to Yuguang Island, Anping, and Yonghua Road across the bridge.
