Tainan Sleepie Inn

Getting checked in was easy, and the room was fairly clean. The pillows had a faint oily odor, though, and I would have liked a nightlight.

The main entrance uses a combination lock, so it felt secure. Inside, both the room and bathroom were very clean, and the whole place had a great feel.

The four-person room's bathroom felt a little cramped, but the bed was surprisingly comfortable and not too hard. There was plenty of daylight from the big window, and bedside outlets made charging easy. Changing shoes at check-in helped keep the room clean. The building has an elevator, luggage shelves for temporary storage, and a water dispenser in the kitchen at the back of the first floor. Disposable toiletries aren't supplied. There's a small motorcycle parking spot beside the guesthouse.

The owner replied right away whenever I had a question, and the neighborhood has plenty of amenities, with restaurants and a bus stop not too far away. I was nervous because of the poor reviews, but my three-day, two-night stay left me very satisfied. The place was clean and tidy, the bed was very soft, and switching on the air conditioning took care of the humidity. For the price, it was great value.
