The place is beautiful, but the maintenance and service were SO bad. We booked their most expensive, best room, the Villa with a private pool, and had a terrible stay. There was no internet the entire time and no electricity when we arrived. When we were getting ready for bed, the central lighting system failed, so we couldn't turn off any lights. The central electricity controls also kept switching on and off, and we had to call the staff again and again about problems. The TV was turning itself on and off too. All they offered to make up for it was an extra 30 minutes. Very disappointing. If I could give zero stars, I would. Don't bother booking here, it's a waste of time and definitely money.

It feels like it's out in the boondocks, with almost nothing nearby. The room was huge and well equipped, with a large entrance hall leading into a very spacious bedroom and king bed. The bathroom was roomy too, with a spa bath and a shower that included a sauna. Breakfast was very average. The lighting was controlled by a remote that was difficult to work out, probably because it was faulty. We couldn't switch off all the lights to sleep. Taking the key card out of the main control didn't turn off the lights causing the problem, but it did shut off the air conditioning.

The nearest station is a 20-25 minute walk away, so getting a taxi is the only real option. The car park entrance guard house doubles as check-in and security, and there's no check-in lobby.

The food at the hotel could use more variety, and the Wi-Fi is very weak. The room and bathtub are both big. The instructions for the tub need to be larger and in English, and the lighting directions should clearly explain that it's electronically automated.
