Eastern Star Hotel

The room was really quiet even though the hotel is in Taipei’s busiest area. It was clean and tidy, with strong WiFi, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Best location and best service. Better than lots of 5-star hotels I’ve stayed at. I’ll definitely check in again on a future Taipei trip.

I’ve stayed here several times with my family. The train is right below and there’s a Watsons nearby, so the location is great. The staff also give great advice for exploring Taipei City and are very friendly.

The employees were very nice, and it was quiet enough to get good rest. I stayed ten nights, and this place was much quieter than another hotel a short walk away that was above a nightclub. My bathroom was very clean and had good hot water, and the WiFi worked well. The room was cleaned daily when I chose to have it done, and each time I got two water bottles and two small cans of soda. I’ll likely stay here again when I’m in the area.

We stayed three nights last June 2023 with our two kids and got good rest. The hotel is very close to the train station, and the staff were all nice. They even had candy for the kids and let us store our bags for a while when we were transferring and heading to Taichung. At night, though, the area turns into a club scene, with lots of people outside before going up to the hotel. It’s on the 11th floor beside the Watsons store. Unfortunately, I can’t share any photos because my gallery was accidentally deleted.
