On this four-night visit to Grand Hi-Lai Hotel Taipei, I had my smoothest check-in here yet. It was efficient and felt up to five-star standards. Mr. Zhong （Mr. Zhong）at the front desk was professional, attentive, and thoughtful. I appreciated the message he sent when my room key was ready. The restaurants and bakery are well worth recommending too. Service like that makes me look forward to another stay.

The hotel is a bit outside the main areas, so most sights take a metro ride to reach, though getting around is still manageable. The rooms were beautiful, quiet, spacious, and had a good view over the surroundings, a relaxing place to unwind after a long day. The pool and spa were excellent and well maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. After our long flight, we arrived early and were allowed to freshen up in the pool area.

The breakfast buffet had a good mix of local and international dishes, and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a lovely city view. Grand Hilai Hotel is conveniently close to Nangang Exhibition Center, shopping, public transport, and local attractions. Staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help. A pleasant, memorable stay, highly recommended for business or leisure.

We loved the room, and spending time in the 25th-floor lounge was a great experience. The hotel is wonderful, but getting around wasn't very convenient for us. More detailed transport and local travel information during booking would have helped. Be ready to plan your routes ahead.

Being right beside LaLaport mall was a big plus, with plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. The MRT is under a five-minute walk away too. The hotel is brand new, and my suite was spacious with a nice view of both the river and the highway. The Mid-Century Modern decor, with lots of gold accents, reminded me of their Sun Moon Lake property. The food was where the stay really fell short. The breakfast buffet had a huge selection, but it tasted incredibly bland. The deep-fried food was especially off-putting. The oil smelled rancid and old, and I could notice it just walking nearby. The suite's Executive Lounge access made check-in, checkout, and refreshments convenient, but the Afternoon Tea and Happy Hour food was mediocre and cold, as if it had been sitting out for hours. It's fine for a drink, but I wouldn't go there for food. The furniture looked nice but didn't feel well made, and dirty windows blurred what should have been a beautiful river view. Compared with their Sun Moon Lake property, service and quality control here need significant improvement. The location beside LaLaport and the MRT is hard to beat, so enjoy the room and mall, but skip breakfast. Return visit rate0%
