Hamp Court Palace Taipei

The little Christmas tree-making activity was a hit with the kids, and we ate at both restaurants on the first and second floors. The food and drinks were excellent, and the service was too. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked smoothly. Hot water was steady in the shower, which drained well, and the staff were friendly. We also appreciated having clean self-service laundry machines. We had a wonderful stay and would come back.

Jimi, the Manager, kindly let us check out late without charging extra, which we really appreciated. The front desk team, especially Andrea and the others, were supportive too. We had a pleasant stay at the Hamp court Palace. Thanks for looking after us.

The room had a lovely open feel from the high floor, with views of the city and the nearby highway. There was plenty of space to unwind, including two lounge chairs and a little round table, as well as a desk and office chair. The queen bed was much easier to share than the smaller beds we'd had at other hotels. Check-in was simple thanks to the front desk staff's excellent English. The stay was fantastic, and for the price the hotel felt convenient and comfortable, with a room that went well beyond what I expected.

The bathrooms were surprisingly spacious for Taipei, and our room was clean and larger than it looked in the online photos. There was a water refill point by the elevators, plus complimentary tea and coffee in the room. The central location put us near lots of restaurants and shops, with the MRT about a ten-minute walk away. We had a great stay and I'd happily stay here again.
