The location made exploring Taipei easy, with the MRT/metro nearby and lots of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores around. Breakfast had plenty of options and was very good each morning. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and even arranged a trip back to the airport that cost much less than the taxi I took when arriving. I stayed at Horizon Inn at the beginning and end of my Taiwan trip in February, and was comfortable both times. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean, with a comfortable bed and a thoughtful layout that gave me room to work or relax. I appreciated the amenities, and the washer and dryer were handy during the trip. I'd happily stay here again on my next visit to Taipei.

We tried this hotel because everything else was booked and overpriced during the May holiday. Never again, and don't be taken in by the good reviews. The hotel was dirty, the rooms felt claustrophobic, and our quadraple room's window faced the wall of the next building, only 2 meter away. Breakfast was very poor and expensive.

Jy and Lannie were kind, helpful, and friendly, and Jy gave me a warm welcome when I arrived. The location near market and MRT is good, the price is reasonable, and I enjoyed my stay at Horizon Inn. I'd recommend it if you're looking for those things. The wifi worked well, and free laundry was a nice bonus. I booked directly with the hotel online, arranged airport pick up with them, and communicated over WhatsApp. It all went smoothly. Breakfast isn't Chinese, and comes as a set menu: scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, a sandwich on a bun, small salad, and sliced fruit. There was also coffee, tea, milk, soy milk, juice, and cereal.

The only small downside was a smell from the toilet/bathroom and the roughly 12min walk from the MRT station. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my 4 nights here during my Taiwan trip. The room was large, clean, and modern, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.

The location is very convenient and easy to get around from, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was simple, comfortable, and tidy, with diligent cleaning staff. Good price if you don't mind a room without a window.
