Oursinn Hotel

We booked a week but left after one night, and they still charged the full reservation without refunding anything. For a luxury price in Taipei, that felt like a complete scam. Staying there was a nightmare. Don’t book here. The first day, the bathroom flooded. After a shower, everything stayed wet for about six hours, so you couldn’t go in. They claim the rooms are soundproof, but we heard outside traffic all night and couldn’t fall asleep, even exhausted from traveling. The ceiling was filthy and mouldy, and we found some huge cockroaches on it. I’m giving one star because zero isn’t an option.

It’s an affordable place with okay accommodation, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Getting to the famous spots around Taipei City was convenient. My only complaint is the shower head, which I hope they replace with a better one. All in all, I’d recommend staying here in Taipei. 😊

For what I paid, this hotel was a lot better than other places around Taipei. I stayed for two days, enjoyed it, and found check-in easy. They provided the amenities listed, and the price was budget friendly.

The staff were very nice, but the place wasn’t clean. After staying there, my boyfriend and I were both itchy all over. It may have been fleas or some kind of night bugs in the room.
