Rido Hotel

We loved the afternoon snack delivery, a fun little extra, and the team were kind and very helpful throughout. Our room had loads of character, felt beautifully made, and was incredibly clean. Daan park is right across the road, with an MRT station next door. Great value if you like the finer touches. We’ll be back and will send friends here too. Thanks Rido!

Being close to everything was convenient, and the staff were fairly friendly. The breakfast buffet had a decent selection, though my breakfast coupon had disappeared by the second day. My room needed more attention. It was dusty, the carpet was dirty, there was rubbish tucked into some corners, and the bathmat was missing. Staff came into the room several times to 'clean' and leave food.

Keeping our bags at the hotel while we spent two nights out at Yangmingshan saved us a lot of hassle. Getting around was easy too, with the Daan Park MRT entrance about a minute away and bus stops nearby. We stayed five nights across three different rooms. Each time the service was great, and the room was clean and spacious for the two of us. The Daan Park view was a nice bonus. They left biscuits and a banana in our room every afternoon, which was a lovely thing to find when we got back. For the price in such a prime spot, I think this deserves five stars.

For the price, it’s a nice little hotel beside a park, with a clean, tidy room and a bathtub. The nearest station is about a minute away on foot, so getting around is easy. Soundproofing could be better, though it wasn’t bad.
