Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Taipei Ximen

We had a great family stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helped with everything, including arranging a car, while using the gym and business center was hassle-free. Our room was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. The hotel is right in the Xi Men Ding area, close to sights and plenty of food options. The breakfast buffet was excellent for variety and quality, especially the Japanese and Taiwanese dishes. Special thanks to Nash and Adzuki at the front desk for such exemplary service.

The layout was a pleasant surprise for three of us sharing a room with three single beds. There was space for our luggage and souvenirs, and the toilet and shower were separate. The hotel also has a laundry room and gym. I liked the guest-only access at the main entrance between 12 and 6 a.m., which helped me feel safe. It’s cozy, spacious, and convenient, and so far it’s my favorite hotel. I’ll be back!

This was my second stay at Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Taipei Ximen during a visit to Taipei, and the experience exceeded what I expected again. The staff were professional in every interaction, with consistently warm, genuine energy. The hotel clearly puts effort into training its team. The self-service laundry was useful, though a little expensive. After housekeeping, we found a lotion bottle that wasn’t ours and an empty oat milk bottle we hadn’t bought. My temporary card had also been taken out of the slot that powers the room, which concerned us. We raised it with the hotel, and staff acknowledged the problem at checkout and offered service recovery. We had booked two rooms for our family of four. One room’s air-conditioning wasn’t working, but the team quickly arranged a room change when we asked. They were friendly, attentive, and responsive throughout. During our stay there was a 7.0 earthquake, and the staff handled it calmly. Despite the housekeeping issue, we had a positive stay and appreciated the hotel’s customer service and accountability.
