Via Hotel Taipei Station

The bathroom was my favorite part. There's a huge walk-in shower, automatic toilet seats, and a separate bathroom heater, so you don't get cold stepping out when the room is cool from the AC. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very polite. There are plenty of complimentary things too, like ice cream, coffee, pot noodle, and drinks. It's about a 5/10 min walk to a busy area with lots of shops and street food, popular with young people. Some great breakfast places are just around the corner.

The free snack bar was so convenient when we wanted something late at night, and the staff always greeted us when we came in. Our room was spacious for two, and the bathroom was set apart from the bed, which I liked compared with similar rooms. It was super clean and had a smart toilet. They also provided a small massage machine. The only drawback was hearing water from the bathroom tube every night. It lasted about 5 mins, so it didn't affect our sleep. We had a pleasant stay at Via Hotel last week and will definitely come back.

The rooms were cozy, neat, and very clean, and the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location was perfect for getting around by public transport, and it was very inexpensive for the area. After checkout, you can leave your bags in the lobby if needed. Snacks, coffee, and water are available there 24/7, and there's a microwave too. I'd stay here again.

The staff were helpful when I needed a visa printed, and they did it right away. The location is great, within walking distance of the train station that goes to the airport, with street food, restaurants, 7/11, and family marts nearby. For a quick trip, this would probably work well for most people. I was surprised by the simple but efficient lobby and snack area, with an ice cream machine and soda machine. My room had no window and felt stuffy. There was the usual Taipei sewage or musty smell, plus mold in the shower. My histamine levels went up, and I kept blowing my nose and coughing. The bathroom wasn't well separated from the bedroom, so the humidity made it worse. The room also needed better insulation. I had a neighbor singing karaoke loudly by himself.
