We Come Hostel

The room was compact, and the pillows and mattress felt too thin and soft to me, but otherwise it was a lovely stay. The hostel is really convenient. We got there easily on the Taoyuan Airport Metro, and Beimen Metro station made it easy to get around the city. Dihua Street is very close, so we beat the crowds and queues and got to try the food we’d been wanting to taste. I especially want to thank the staff member on duty on 27 Dec. We arrived that day and had an earthquake at night. Before things got chaotic on our floor, they were already in the corridor checking that everyone was all right and reassuring us. Thank you so much, you were amazing.

The area is convenient, with the airport metro, main station, and historic Dihua Street nearby. The common area was nicely decorated, well maintained, and a pleasant place to eat lunch or chat. We stayed in a standard double room, but a drip from another level continued around the clock and was really annoying. We asked to switch rooms, but no other room of the same type was free, so we would have had nowhere to stay during the daytime. There were several good things about the place, but we couldn’t get a good night’s sleep during our stay, so I honestly couldn’t recommend it.

The staff were so kind and helpful, and the place was clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night, but it was a lovely one.

Everything in the lounge was neat and the basics were there. The mattress was thin enough to leave me with a sore back the next morning. By night three, I was putting the blanket underneath me for extra comfort.
