The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and things were fairly clean. The beds are on the firm side, somewhere between Asian and Western styles. Breakfast had lots of very Taiwan-style dishes to try, though they ran out of juice on our third day. The hotel is close to the airport, and otherwise we had no complaints about the breakfast. A broken hair dryer was supposed to be replaced right away after I called down, but it never arrived. My wife went to bed cold with wet hair, and I had to pick up a replacement the next day. When we asked for towels, they came an hour later, but the wet linens weren't taken away.

The main drawback was the lingering cigarette smell in the air conditioning. The place is non-smoking now, but I don't think it always was, and management should have contractors clean and sanitize the system thoroughly. That said, this is a love motel with huge, clean rooms, good service, and a convenient location at very reasonable prices. There's a parking garage for your car, 24/7 access, and free breakfast. The breakfast is fair for the price, though nothing special. The shower was excellent, with strong pressure and hot water. Families and solo travelers shouldn't be put off by the motel type. I'd stay again next time I'm in Taoyuan, Taiwan.

The staff were very kind, and the rooms feel more like condos than hotel rooms, with some really nice designs. Just be aware this is a love motel, as I learned after booking by accident. The buildings seem old, and my room felt stuffy. The towels had tobacco smell and stains despite being in a non-smoking room. The room itself smelled a little of tobacco too, though I know that's not unusual. You get what you pay for?

It was cute, but we won't be back. We stayed because we hadn't expected to need a hotel that night, and this one was available near our destination. It's a 'love motel', basically by the hour. The place wasn't clean, and we had to ask for fresh bedding. Cigarette smoke was everywhere.
