Flying Sun & Moon B&B

Everything was great for a very affordable price, from the location to the rooms and the host. The woman at reception, who I understood might also be the owner, really stood out. She was kind, always smiling, and very helpful with tips on what to do and how to get around the area. Highly recommended!

Wendy was so welcoming. We got there really early, but she let us check in right away, brought us delicious welcome teas, and even upgraded us to a larger room for free. The sweet black tea is a must-try! She also shared useful local tips and recommended great nearby restaurants, some with English and vegetarian menus. Our room was super clean and had everything we needed. Sun Moon Tea B&B was easily the best place we stayed during our trip to Taiwan. We had a wonderful stay!

The B&B is above a tea shop that smells amazing, just a few minutes from a bus stop, ferry pier, and trails. The host provided a packed breakfast with delicious tea, as well as a voucher for dinner at a local restaurant. My room was spacious, the location was excellent, and the host was amazing. I only wish I'd stayed longer than two nights. It was also very convenient that the only bus going directly to Alishan starts its route next door.

Preston greeted us and was fantastic, friendly, and incredibly helpful with buses and arranging boat tickets. The location was great, just steps from where the bus dropped us off. Our interior room had no window and was nice, but the shower door wouldn't close. The AC made a weird noise, though we couldn't hear it through earplugs.
