Godwin, the hotel manager, picked us up from the airport and gave us tips on what to do, where to go, and what to eat. He’s a great professional and an even better person. The front office team were charming and very helpful, always there with a smile when we needed anything. My husband and I spent two nights here and couldn’t have had a better experience. The rooms were good and the beds very comfortable. They have a great bar with lots of drinks and very friendly staff. The food was delicious. We tried the pork rib, and it was from another world! We highly recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Arusha. It’s also very close to the airport and a good connection if you’re starting or finishing a safari.

We were there for two nights on our safari, and both the comfortable, very clean room and the pleasant temperature made the stay great. The service was great too.

Burka coffee lounge has a calm feel, with art built into the foundations and lots of creative touches. It’s also clean, well kept, and nature-oriented. Service was quick, and the quiet setting made it easy to talk or hold a meeting.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was perfect. I liked the place, though the food wasn’t that good.

It’s a nice, quiet spot outside town, and the food had been delicious before. On my recent return, though, the food was poor and the service was really bad. We were served leftovers, so make sure you insist on fresh food. That experience brought my opinion of the place down, even though I still like the setting.
