The rooms themselves were good, but the service was slow and dismissive, and the WiFi coverage was poor. On the third floor there was a pungent smell. Showers were cold or only warm for about three minutes. The food didn’t taste very good and gave me intense food poisoning. A bad experience. Don’t sleep here for your own good.

Where do I even start? So many strange, awful things. This is a review from a Kenyan. The rooms look appealing, which is the only reason I’m giving two stars for them. The internet was weak and unstable, and the third floor had a stuffy, odd smell. They said it was toilet cleaner used in all the bathrooms, but I didn’t notice it on the other floors, and it didn’t seem necessary. Showers stayed hot for about three minutes before turning cold, however long the heater was left on. We reported it, but nothing was fixed. Some workers had a terrible attitude, and basic supplies like water and soap weren’t restocked. Some bathrooms had no barrier, so shower water ran out into the area outside. When it rained, water leaked from above and flooded the tiled stairs in the apartment complex. That’s dangerous, since someone could slip and be seriously hurt. Worst of all, my family got terrible stomach aches from food poisoning. Some people vomited, and one of us had to go to the hospital. I suspect they were recycling food, especially since the place was deserted even though it was peak season. We spent a lot of time at the hospital and recovering, which spoiled our trip. If somewhere is deserted during peak season, run. There’s probably a good reason.

My family had a terrible bout of food poisoning here, and I’m very disappointed. Some of us became sickeningly unwell. The hotel has attractive facilities, but the service is seriously lacking. The catering was awful, and the food seemed recycled. Maintenance was poor too. Bathroom water heating kept cutting in and out, and the drain in my children’s room was clogged, so shower water ran into the corridor. Room supplies like drinking water and tissues were unreliable, and we had to keep asking for them.

They won’t let customers be dropped off inside the gate, and if you’re dropped outside, they won’t take your bags either.
