It’s a nice place, but several things didn’t match what we expected. We were told laundry would be available, but there was no laundry service. The hot tub didn’t work, and the fireplaces couldn’t be used. The breakfast boxes were just okay, with burnt sausages and browning apples, and the community coffee tasted like Folgers. They said they could arrange a couples massage, but after we paid, we learned it would be in separate rooms.

The bungalow was spacious and comfortable, set among a beautiful garden and lush greenery. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. We stayed overnight during our safari and had an amazing time.

We stopped here for one night after visiting the Ngorongoro Crater. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a balcony where we could sit and relax. It was well appointed, the bathroom was clean with reliable hot water, and having an electric kettle was a nice touch. Wi-Fi was very patchy and only available around the pool and reception, often not connecting at all. Renovations were underway, so reception and the restaurant had been moved into a tented setup, which was managed well given the circumstances. Dinner was an average buffet, and the packed lunch was disappointing: the sandwiches were dry and hard, so we didn’t eat them. Staff interactions felt a bit cold and awkward, and they seemed more at ease with French-speaking guests. The rooms were comfortable, but next time I’d consider staying elsewhere for better food, friendlier service, and more reliable internet.

We loved staying here. The staff were polite and helpful, and wonderful with our kids. Manager Elias went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. I can definitely recommend this lodge.

Our bush camp with Suricata Safaris was overbooked while we were on safari, so we ended up at Bougainville villa, and it was a very pleasant surprise. It’s a beautiful, accommodating place, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were lovely and the beds comfortable. The dinner buffet was delicious. I’m a picky eater with dietary restrictions, so it’s rare for me to have no complaints, as my spouse can confirm. This is a must-stay.
