Jevas Hotel

The restaurant is good and inexpensive. You may have to wait a while for the food, but there are a couple of vegan choices and the veggie curry was really good. It's a nice hotel in Arusha, and the staff kindly let me check out late since my transfer was coming after checkout time.

I had a sweet, luxurious stay in Arusha. Nice room and a balcony facing the Mount Meru View.

The AC worked well and kept the room comfortable, and the sheets were clean. But they didn't cover the whole mattress, leaving the bottom exposed where my legs kept touching it. The room carpet was visibly dirty, even though some areas were okay. Several doors were hard to use, especially the bathroom door, which felt like a wrestling match each time. There was no bathroom exhaust, so after a hot shower the whole place felt sticky. Outside noise came through clearly even with the windows shut, making it hard to relax or sleep. The restaurant was disappointing. The food was bland and didn't seem fresh, and I had a bad tummy after dinner. The WiFi in my room barely worked, which was a problem since I needed a reliable connection. This stay was far from ideal, and the hotel needs to improve maintenance, cleanliness, soundproofing, and amenities.

Right in the center, which is a perfect location. The rooms are good and the beds are good too, though the polyester sheets and a few other things could use a refresh. Staff were helpful and kind, and there's a good restaurant on the roof.
