The pool was a nice spot to relax, and the beachside setting gave us great views, especially around sunset. But the hotel feels dated, and some facilities need maintenance. Food was okay, though below what I’d expect at a hotel of this level. Service varied: some staff were friendly and helpful, while others seemed uninterested. My stay at Ledger Plaza Bahari Beach Hotel was average. It’s not a bad place, but it doesn’t quite justify its rating or price. With some improvements, it could be much better.

The pool tiles felt slimy in places, and the whole place looked dirty and in need of a lot of repair. Service was horrible too. You can’t even find the waiters when you want to order more. I don’t recommend coming here. The food was horrible, and it was extremely expensive as well. Do better, Ledger plaza!

The maintenance has slipped over time, and the hotel no longer seems to match its former standard. It used to be among the best hotels in Dar es Salaam, with breathtaking views and a lovely beachfront.

The location is beautiful, but the lack of maintenance really hurt the experience. Everything feels dated, from the old furniture to the worn bathroom and other signs of neglect. Breakfast was my biggest disappointment. I’d paid for accommodation and breakfast, but at 8:00 a.m. on my last morning the kitchen was still closed, even though that’s a standard time and not outside the hours. I couldn’t get the service I’d paid for. On the other days, the breakfast was almost unbeatable.

We left in under an hour. I’ve stayed in three-star hotels that were better. Awful experience.
