We had dinner at the Stonefish restaurant in June 2023, and it was excellent. The crayfish came with salad and chips, was fresh and beautifully prepared, and was very well priced. The host was so friendly and added a lot to the experience.

The owner was a friendly, caring man who wanted to make sure our experience was good and that we got what we paid for. My girlfriend and I went for a meal, and it was the best food we'd had so far in Jambiani. We had fresh fish and lobster that fishermen had caught earlier that same day. The prices were good, and the owner told us stories about his time working in tourism in Zanzibar. Great guy, great food, and great service. I'd recommend it to anyone in Jambiani or heading there.

The room was good, and the beach is just a one minute walk away. Said was a lovely host who helped us with everything we needed, and even taught us some local customs for getting around the island. We had a great stay at the Stonefish Inn and ate dinner there twice. The fresh fish was amazing.

The owner of this hotel is a sincere and honest gentleman, and you can trust him and his family. It's a wonderful place to stay in the Jambiani area, well placed for beautiful beaches, caves, and the blue safari you should try in Zanzibar. They also have a nice restaurant serving local food with beef, chicken, and fresh seafood.
