We absolutely loved our night here. The meals were excellent, and beer was available with dinner. This is a real bargain in an otherwise very overpriced area near the Ngorongoro park entrance. Although it's a monastery, they offer full board and clean, simple rooms in a separate courtyard area. The nuns running it were extremely helpful and pleasant.

The rooms are plain and simple, but they stay cool inside even when it's hot out, despite having no air conditioning. Everything was clean and tidy, and the nuns keep the grounds in great shape. The monastery itself was really lovely, with friendly service. A fantastic base for travelling, highly recommended.

The manager arranged a safari for us to the Ngorongoro Crater, and they even made a birthday cake for us at no charge when we asked. I left a donation voluntarily. The food was absolutely delicious. The rooms were okay, and the monastery feels like a bit of a hidden gem.

We spent four lovely nights at the convent, and the restaurant on site was excellent. It was a great base for some wonderful safaris in the surrounding parks. The one thing I missed was a little heating in the rooms. Thanks to the whole team!
