Gorgeous weather, lovely views, great food, and warm service. I’m staying at Holiday Time Bungalows now, and the room is roomy, beautifully decorated, and amazingly clean. The bathroom is always clean too. The hosts are kind and helpful, and the staff are lovely. Christine is especially attentive. We’ll definitely come back to Holiday Time Bungalows when we’re next in Zanzibar. The king fish, fish curry, and avocado mango salad are the best, and the restaurant is great.

We planned on two nights and ended up staying five 🙂. The hosts are relaxed and happy to hear any ideas or wishes, and the chef is lovely too. From the first-floor room and balcony, the view is worth paying extra for. The beach is close, with the finest, most beautiful white sand I’ve ever felt. It’s an easy place to unwind and feel at home, with the ocean beside you and the days drifting by peacefully.

The beach is only a few minutes away, and the restaurant food was amazing. Our stay was genuinely pleasant: the rooms were spacious, very clean, comfortable, and had AC. It’s a new, lovely place run by a wonderful pair, Uli and Christine, with a great team: Julius, Halima, Shafi (Mr. Obrigado), and Chefs Believer and Francis. Thank you!

We loved the huge, spotless room, easily the best one of our Zanzibar trip. Matemwe Beach is a two-minute walk away, though we liked Muyuni Beach more and got there cheaply by boda boda (scooter). The breakfast was tasty and generous, and the restaurant is one of the area’s best. Mussa was excellent at everything. From the owners to the staff, everyone was great!
