Irene went above and beyond, even making breakfast for my husband and me to enjoy in the pool. All the staff were polite and attentive throughout our stay. Sunshine Bay Resort has a lovely pool area and its own beach, surrounded by beautiful plants and trees that give the resort a jungle feel. Our room was spacious, with a balcony and sea view. A peaceful place in beautiful Zanzibar, and a perfect end to our trip. I'd highly recommend it.

We were very impressed by Sunshine Bay's location, friendly staff, and clean hotel during our 6 nights there for our honeymoon. We dived with Dive Point, which is based in the sister hotel. It was amazing, and transport was arranged for us, so it was very convenient. We were on half board, with a choice of two starters, mains, and desserts each night. The food was tasty and the options varied enough. There were a few drawbacks. Power outages happened often, and one night the AC beeped across all the rooms for 30 mins at 1am. Restaurant service was very slow on most nights, although we weren't in a hurry, and it was much better when management was there. We'd still definitely recommend Sunshine Bay.

The seaside setting was lovely, a real pleasure and a great place to recharge. We spent five fantastic days at Sunshine Bay Zanzibar, where the staff were extremely welcoming and attentive to what we needed and expected. Great hotel, I recommend it! Mickael & Floriane

It's a peaceful hotel beside the beach, with its own sandy stretch and very few people around, apart from some fishermen and passersby. The quiet location is what makes it unique. Good energy, good service, and friendly people. Four stars, depending on what you're looking for. For me, it was a perfect yoga spot, and the massage service was excellent. Miss Besa 😍🙏🏻
