Kileleni

The meals were a highlight, with fresh, tasty food at both breakfast and dinner. We also loved the big swimming pool and its beautiful views. It’s a small, intimate place with just three lodges, which made it ideal for a quiet stay. Our room was very clean and well equipped, and we were welcomed warmly and looked after attentively. Congratulations and thanks to the whole team for a memorable visit.

The ocean is full of life, from coral and fish to all sorts of other creatures. Kileleni helped us discover it and plan our outings, including whale shark trips and scuba diving. When we wanted a break from those activities, we could also arrange spa treatments in our room. Our days felt very relaxed because each morning we talked through meals and plans with Manager Alli and his capable staff. Transfers and activities ran smoothly, and the meals worked around our schedule, including on mornings when we had to start very early. The food was great. The bungalows were spacious and well appointed, with comfortable beds and AC. The pool, restaurant, and bar all look out over the ocean. We had a wonderful time on Mafia Island and hope to come back to explore more of its land-based sights. There’s a lot to see for such a small place.

The staff were friendly and helped us arrange drivers as well as whale shark trips, snorkeling, and kayaking. An excellent stay, and it has to be the best place to stay on the island!

Everything here feels beautiful and peaceful, and the staff are lovely. The rooms have air cooling, which you really need when the nights get so hot. Watching the sunset from the swimming pool with a cocktail was simply wonderful. We’ll definitely be back 💙
