Juana Ocean Villas

We left right away, feeling deeply disappointed and misled. We had come with three children for what was meant to be a once-in-a-lifetime trip, but what we found was drastically different from the promises and online reviews. The tour representatives offered practically no support. After arriving at 2 a.m., we couldn't even get a normal meal in the morning. Breakfast, despite its high price, was three slices of tomato, a dry piece of cucumber, and ants in the jam. There was no proper air conditioning in the rooms, just one unit in the hallway that couldn't cool the whole space. I asked for more avocado and was given a hard, inedible one, with a staff member saying it was “not ready yet”. Avocados and mangoes are everywhere here, so seriously? This isn't about “because it’s Africa”. We stayed somewhere else just a month ago, and the standard was completely different. The good reviews attracting guests don't reflect the actual experience. A very big disappointment, and a strong sense that we were simply misled.

The pool and beach were only steps from our room, which was spacious, spotless, and cozy. From bed, we watched breathtaking sunrises over the ocean, pure magic. The food was outstanding, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Joana Ocean Villas was a perfect stay, a five-star paradise, and we can't wait to return!

I loved every minute here. It was a peaceful escape from everyday hustle and bustle, with a beautiful pool, unusual dishes, and a pristine beach where little crabs scurry around. A real place to unwind.

The villas are peaceful and just a few steps from the magnificent Indian Ocean. We fell asleep to the waves and woke to a breathtaking sunrise, with only the ocean's gentle rhythm and the occasional seabird breaking the stillness. Juana is an ideal place to unwind and reconnect with yourself. Breakfast was plentiful, with delicious choices for different tastes. I also loved the decadent chocolate brownie at afternoon tea. Piotr, Karina, and the whole team were wonderful hosts and made the stay memorable. I'd highly recommend Juana Ocean Beach Villas to anyone looking to recharge.
