The tents were roomy and sparkly clean, and the food was delicious with huge portions. We ate breakfast and dinner at the camp restaurant, and they packed lunch for us to have out on safari. Zarafa tented camp sits beside the beautiful Rufiji river in Mwaseni village, just a 9 km drive from the Selous game reserve entrance. We stayed five days and enjoyed every bit of it. The manager and staff were so friendly and helpful. If we get the chance, we’ll come back to this lovely place. Ahsante sana for a wonderful stay at Zarafa tented camp! Andrea & Roland

The staff were some of the friendliest I’ve ever met, always trying to go the extra mile to meet everyone’s needs. My tent was very clean and had everything needed for a safari, with a nice view over the ruifiji river. I was really impressed with the service and would recommend this place to anyone going on safari.

We had a great stay, and Henrick, the camp manager, is a reliable, wonderful person. He even took us on a guided tour of the neighboring village. The atmosphere felt friendly and secure, and the food was great. We need gluten-free food, and that was no problem. A fantastic place to stay when visiting Selous Game Reserve.

The location is great for enjoying an adventure, and the rooms are nice to stay in. Your service is very good and affordable. I think improving security would make the place even better.
