We came back four separate times during our month in Tanzania, and each stay was great. The grounds and pool are beautiful and immaculately kept. It's within walking distance of restaurants and shops, though expect to be hassled on the street. We left our luggage there between parts of the trip and felt sure it was safe and secure. Rooms were clean and spacious. Some had balconies, others views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Showers were hot with moderate pressure, the A/C was good, and the beds were on the firm side. The bellhop was amazing, almost like a game to see how many duffels he could carry at once. All the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good and the beer was cold and well priced.

The location made it easy to explore, quiet but close to the town center. The room was clean and comfortable, with an amazing view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and check-in was easy. Breakfast had plenty of delicious options, and I enjoyed the local dinner dishes too. I had a wonderful experience.

We made Parkview Inn our home base for nearly two weeks while on safari and climbing kili. It's a block from a supermarket and two or three blocks from souvenir shopping. Prices were very reasonable, and the on-site restaurant was excellent, serving three meals a day and a buffet at night. It's the cleanest hotel I've stayed in, even compared with places in the USA. The staff work nonstop to clean, help, and make sure you're taken care of. So, so friendly. I'd give it 10 stars if Google would let me!
